BIOGRAPHY
Katia Pronin was born in St. Petersburg, where she obtained her DipMus with High Distinction and BMus from St. Petersburg Rimskiy-Korsak of Conservatory of Music, where she studied piano and voice.
After her arrival in Australia in 2006, she won a Fellowship in the Australian Ballet Company, where she worked as a pianist for one year. Since then, she has been employed as an accompanist in the dance department at Victorian College of the Arts (Melbourne).
As a well-established artist, Katia has also performed many concerts throughout Australia.
She has been featured as a principal soprano in some of the most iconic roles of operatic repertoire. Her impressive list of credits includes Violetta (La Traviata), Tosca (Tosca), Carmen (Carmen), and Mimi (la Boheme).
Since 2007, Katia has organised her Private Studio, where she prepares her students for auditions, exams, and concerts. Her students have received the highest marks in the exams and Eisteddfod competitions.
Katia is the founder and director of the Pronin Performing Arts Company and Pronin Performing Arts Studio and has been an AMEB board member as a private teacher representative since 2022.
Pronin Performing Arts Studio has been selected as one of the most popular kids' activities in Pennant Hills, Cherrybrook, Paramatta, North Rocks, Bella Vista, and Dural.
Katia is also a piano and voice tutor at Redfield College and Hills Adventist College.
Katia enjoys teaching students of all ages for concerts, exams or leisure.

Fonda Mulia has been teaching piano for over thirty years, starting as a mentor assistant in her teenage years. Her passion for music led her to study at the Australian Institute of Music in Surry Hills, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Classical Performance with distinction. Combining a strong academic foundation with years of teaching experience, Fonda is committed to delivering high-quality, personalized instruction that caters to each student’s unique goals and musical journey.
Fonda believes that every student has the potential to express music at their highest level when provided with the right strategies and techniques, all within a flexible, encouraging, and supportive environment. Beyond technical proficiency, she emphasizes the importance of open communication and collaboration with students and parents to foster meaningful progress. Many of her students have excelled in AMEB piano practical and music theory exams, often earning High Distinction results. Her students' successes include a full music scholarship to a prestigious private school and strong performances in Eisteddfod Piano competitions.
As a lifelong learner, Fonda continuously refines her teaching methods to inspire and challenge her students. She also shares her musical journey through a YouTube channel, where she features recorded performances of various repertoire pieces, offering a valuable resource for her students and the broader music community.

Rosemary lives at Gladesville, and has experienced successful teaching career over the last twelve years both in the school and studio environment teaching piano, musicianship, and music education. Her studio consists of a wide variety of students ranging from beginners to diploma level. The studio caters for those students with special needs, and encourages adults to develop their musical skills. Rosemary demonstrates a holistic approach to music education, based on sound developmental principles tailored according to each individual. She encourages students to regularly perform, and conducts her own concerts so students develop self esteem, and a greater musical understanding that occurs through sharing a musical experience with others.
She undertook postgraduate studies at the University of Sydney, Sydney Conservatorium of Music and graduated in 1996 with distinction for her masters degree thesis in instrumental teaching under the supervision of Dr Philomena Brennan, formerly Head of Academic Studies. An experienced performer, Rosemary took early studies with Joyce Skelton in Queensland for almost ten years. During this time, Rosemary began accompanying at the age of eleven, under Miss Skelton’s tutelage who provided many performance opportunities for her to develop this skill. She continued accompanying and advanced piano studies with the distinguished pedagogue and conductor Max Olding at the Queensland Conservatorium. Having moved to Sydney in 1990, Rosemary extended her piano studies with Neta Maughan and Joanne Callinan, with the addition of vocal training and Dalcroze eurhythmics in 1996. She has also been indebted to James Muir, who has also provided wonderful mentorship.
Her achievements include numerous major awards at Eisteddfodau throughout Brisbane and Sydney. In addition, she competed at state and national level, namely the ABC Young Performers Awards while studying music education at the Sydney Conservatorium of music as a full time student. In 1992, while still an undergraduate, she gained her L.Mus.A and LTCL diplomas. Rosemary established a reputation for being one of most outstanding performers in her year, having maintained a distinction average for piano performance throughout her undergraduate course, in addition to the final recital at the Sydney Conservatorium. Her performance repertoire covers concertos, and solo works varying widely from Scarlatti to contemporary Australian.
She will travel to Europe in 2006 to extend her knowledge and skills, particularly in advanced development, and attend workshops and international festivals as according to her teaching and research interests.

I love teaching and particularly the piano which I have being doing now for a long time. I strive to create a safe, ordered and responsive environment with sensitivity to the needs of each student, in alignment with the principles and practices of the Music Teachers' Association which in turn incorporates the principles of how we all learn. I work towards betterment for my students and in my teaching approach. My experience is that trust is built through integrity and skills.

Commencing her piano journey at age five, Anna earned a Master's in Piano Performance and Pedagogy with Distinction from the renowned Krakow Academy of Music. Settling in Australia in 1994, Anna has been a vibrant force as a soloist, teacher, accompanist, and chamber musician.
Wearing multiple hats, she is a senior piano tutor at Tangara School for Girls and St. Joseph's College, collaborates with instrumental scholars, and engages with various Australian classical ensembles.
A passionate piano educator, Anna has an excellent track record in teaching primary and high school students, including HSC Music 1, Music 2, and Music 2 Extension. Her holistic approach to teaching involves psychological, physiological, and creative elements, resulting in engaging and exciting lessons that facilitate the learning process and help reveal the artistic potential of her students.

Nancy works as a professional piano teacher, accompanist and freelance performer.
She graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 1981 with Bachelor of Music (accompaniment major) studying with Nancy Salas, Neta Maughan AM and David Miller.
Nancy has over 30 years' experience as a piano teacher. In addition to her own studio, Nancy has been a piano teacher at Queenwood School, Mosman, from 1979 to 1984, before leaving for a year's vocal studies in London with Andrew Field and Audrey Langford in 1985. Nancy was on the piano staff at Saint Ignatius College, Riverview, from 1994 to 2010 and is currently a piano tutor at St Philip’s Christian College, Port Stephens, as well as operating her own private Piano Studio in Birmingham Gardens, Newcastle.
Nancy has a wide experience teaching all ages, from beginners to advanced, across a broad spectrum of levels, standards and directions. Nancy teaches piano, theory, musicianship and aural training and prepares students, with consistent success, for HSC and AMEB examinations, as well as the lighter ‘for leisure’ repertoire.

Elizabeth is a professional music teacher. She has over twenty years experience as a music teacher and accompanist.
Elizabeth has wide experience teaching beginners to advanced levels; the young to adult learners. She teaches the Piano, Musicianship, Theory and Aural Training; and prepares students for AMEB, ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall Examinations as well as the lighter repertoire for pleasure music.
Accompaniment is another source of joy to Elizabeth, besides teaching. She does piano accompaniment for instrumental and voice examinations, auditions, recitals, musical shows and choirs.
