Zachary Donoghoe

Dr Micaela Nathan PhD

Dr Micaela Nathan is a professional orchestral and concert performer, Music Therapist, examiner for the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB), composer, and artistic director. After attending the Sydney Conservatorium high school, she gained her BMus (high distinction), MA and PhD (music therapy/psychology) at Sydney University, with adjunctive research through Melbourne University and the Sydney University of Technology.

Over her 40-year career as a concert musician, Dr Nathan has performed widely as a recitalist, and worked regularly with the major Australian symphony, opera, and ballet orchestras in NSW, QLD, and Victoria, and held principal positions with many music theatre productions in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Korea.

Dr Nathan has been a music educator for 40 years at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels, including lecturer at UTS, and tutor in woodwinds and piano at the Northern Rivers, Penrith, and Central Coast Conservatoriums. She is regularly sought for specialist instruction for HSC, undergraduate, and post-graduate music students.

As a Music Therapist, Dr Nathan provides music learning programs for children who are neurodivergent, and have cognitive differences and physical disabilities. She has undertaken specialist post graduate training and has 25 years' experience teaching these unique children.
Dr Nathan has composed five albums of structured music therapy sessions, presented at International Music Therapist Association conferences, and published for the International Journal of Music and Imagery.

Jared L.S Mundell

Jared Mundell began clarinet at 15, while entering the Conservatorium High School. He graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of music in April 2007, with his Bachelor of Music in Clarinet performance. In that time, he was in the Sydney Youth Orchestra, and played on the radio several times, including two one-hour Fine Music FM Young Performer broadcasts, and ABC “Rising Stars”.

Later that year, he moved to Southern California for a Masters in Performance, with the international clarinettist Hakan Rosengren, on scholarship, he graduated with in January 2010. In April that year he moved to San Francisco two years, combining freelancing performing with Alexander Technique.

Jared has many years private teaching experience, including at a music and dance academy in the San Francisco Bay , two primary schools in Sydney as a student, briefly at a high school while in Southern California during his masters, and continued after his return to Sydney in April 2012.

Since then Jared has continued given numerous concerts, including in 2013 for Willoughby Spring Festival Series, Manly Jazz Festival, 2014 conservatorium recital, 2015 at Camelot Lounge and for an Australian Opera Awards Committee fundraiser, in 2016 at the Sydney Dance Company Cafe Lounge, part of his music accessibility project, for which he received a City of Sydney council cultural grant.

2019 was the next project concert, with Musical Theater singer Melody Beck, and Orava Quartet along with crossover pianist John Martin, and Folk singer Dahlia Dior as before. Other recent highlights include 2017 Avoca Beach Picture Theater, 2018 Belgian Clarinet Academy and 2021 St. Jude's Bowral concerts, private teaching, chamber music and several recordings with piano.

Jared has recently earned a serious of 3^rd and special place awards, in European and American international competitions in 2023 and since, such as International Mozart Competition Vienna, New York International Music Competition, Medici & London International Music Competition.

In 2025 Jared made his debut concert at the Sydney Opera House, being called at the last minute to perform when Frank Celata was unable to, as part of the Utzon Room chamber music concert “Unmasking the Castrato,” and is collaborating with pianist and composer Margaret Brandman.

Di Moss has taught music in the Newcastle area since 2004, after graduating from Sydney Conservatorium of Music (BMusStudies).

Her instruments include clarinet, saxophone, flute, piano, piano accordion and organ.

She has experience with all age groups and mentored students through AMEB grade exams, auditions, and HSC performances. Small Covid-safe ensembles for her students are her speciality. Her lessons offer many genres including classical, jazz and popular music.

Di also enjoys playing multi-cultural music on woodwinds and accordion, and has previously performed around local restaurants and festivals in Newcastle.
